| Role Description |
Trainees will undertake on the job training and support while studying their Certificate III in Children’s Services. They will work under an experienced Group Leader assisting in the co-ordination of educational activities for an allocated group of children.
Specific duties will include: Supervision and support to a group of children, help to prepare and administer activities, maintain hygiene & cleanliness, ensure health & safety and licensing requirements are maintained, provide feedback to parents on their child’s development.

| Role Description |
Group Leaders will coordinate the educational activities of an allocated group of children and will monitor the development of each child.
Specific duties will include: Supervision and support to a group of children, plan and implement a developmentally appropriate program for each child, assess and monitor each child’s progress and provide feedback to parents, maintain developmental records on each child, monitor and evaluate effectiveness of each program, maintain hygiene & cleanliness, ensure health & safety and licensing requirements are maintained, supervise and mentor the performance of trainees and assistants.

| Role Description |
The Assistant Director will perform the same duties as a Group Leader while also assisting the Director in the efficient and effective management of the Centre.
Additional duties will include: Take control of the Centre in the Directors absence, support and supervise employees, assist the Director to supervise programs and maintain Centre policies and procedures, assist the Director to maintain Centre and family records.

| Role Description |
The Director will manage and coordinate all activities within the Centre and will guide and support employees to ensure optimum care and education is provided to children and their families. The Director will also be responsible for ensuring the Centre maintains adherence to ELS policies and procedures, as well as the standards of Accreditation, Child Care Regulation and relevant Child Care Awards.
Specific duties will include: Monitoring programs and quality of care provided by the Centre, recruit, induct and support employees, maintain and implement Centre policies and procedures, maintain Centre records, identify and assist in meeting training needs of employees, monitor parent account balances and maintain at an appropriate level, maintain wage and revenue levels, organise rosters as per award and regulation requirements and maintain a positive relationship with parents and families.

| Role Description |
Early Childhood Teachers will coordinate education activities and curriculum for an allocated age group whilst monitoring the development of each child.
Specific duties will include: Ensuring developmentally and educationally appropriate programs are planned and implemented for each child. Creating a stimulating learning environment, monitoring school readiness and resources, supervision, maintaining effective communication with parents and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
